Modernization of migration and security systems in the automotive industry

Project overview
The project is a surface project at an automotive manufacturer, in which migration systems were converted and security systems were brought up to date with the latest technology.
Project scope:
- Includes 3 buildings
- 83 existing systems converted
- More than 10 different trades were involved
Current status: The project is in its final phase with a focus on documentation and open issues.
Special features of the project
BIM was used in the project in separate BIM appointments with the manufacturer's own BIM manager.
The revitalization of conveyor systems represents a complex modernization project in which existing systems must be renewed during ongoing operation. A particular challenge is the precise coordination of all involved trades in order to minimize production interruptions. By using innovative planning methods and digital tools, it is possible to schedule the conversion measures efficiently and to continuously ensure safety standards. The close coordination between the planning team and production managers enables gradual modernization without major interventions in production processes.
