New company headquarters, energy center and deep geothermal energy — pioneering project for sustainable heat supply & modern operating infrastructure.

Project overview
The Netzgesellschaft Potsdam GmbH (NGP) is implementing a pioneering infrastructure project at Gartenstraße 63 that combines sustainable energy generation with modern operating infrastructure. On the site of Stadtwerke Potsdam, a new company headquarters, one energy center as well as a deep geothermal plant, which is intended to make an important contribution to the climate-friendly heat supply in the region. Existing operationally necessary plants, including a pumping station and a sewer sand collection point, are integrated into the concept or relocated to new locations to ensure ongoing operation.
The project is being implemented in close coordination with 10 trades, who are working together on the implementation of four buildings work. In addition to the technical challenge of deep geothermal drilling, the focus is also on high sustainability and energy efficiency requirements. The construction project is based on recognized standards such as DGNB and LEED to create a resource-saving and sustainable infrastructure.
With this project, the network company Potsdam is setting new standards for sustainable urban development and showing how innovative energy supply and modern company locations can be combined.
Usage of lcmd
In order to efficiently manage complex planning and coordination, the project team sets up lcmd. With the digital platform, construction processes can be planned in a structured way, milestones can be monitored and processes can be optimized. This enables transparent cooperation between stakeholders and supports the successful implementation of this sustainable infrastructure project.
